BIO

Libby Scott is an accomplished session drummer endorsed by DW Drums. She has played at some of Australia’s most iconic festivals, including Splendour in the Grass, Laneway, Falls Festival, BigSound, Sydney WorldPride 2023 and Groovin the Moo.

After graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium with a Bachelor of Music, Libby expanded her expertise in New York, studying under legendary drummers Shawn Pelton (SNL), Carter McLean, Camille Gainer, and Matt Vander Ende. Libby’s diverse career includes performances with ARIA-nominated KLP at Brisbane Riverstage, entertaining football fans with PEPTALK at the FIFA 2023 Women’s World Cup, and a national tour with bella amor supporting Lime Cordiale. She also performed for Pub Choir shows in Brisbane, Hobart, Canberra and Sydney, contributing to their viral performance of “Running Up That Hill.” A dynamic live performer, Libby previously travelled the country with bella amor on the Benson Boone national tour.

As one-third of the band Pink Matter, she recently released their debut mixtape album GLOSS in 2023 and has recently performed as winners of the Future Fresh Smirnoff competition in Melbourne supporting Genesis Owusu.

In between touring the country Libby has been deputy drum chair on musicals such as MJ The Musical, Titanique, SIX! and recently has been in rehearsals for Pretty Woman.

To close out 2025 Libby will be touring the UK and Europe with aleksiah on her Cry About It Tour.
